Ravi Shankar is a Managing Director with Sequoia Capital. At Sequoia Capital, Ravi Shankar focuses on sectors like Consumer, Healthcare and Education. He currently serves on the board of Prataap Snacks, Faaso's, Via, Glocal Healthcare, K12 Techno Services, ISFC and Edusys. Prior to this, Ravi Shankar worked at McKinsey & Company in Mumbai, where he advised senior management of top Indian companies on a variety of issues including business building, channel management and leadership development. Earlierhealso worked at Wipro Technologies in their Embedded and Internet Access division.
Ravi Shankar received an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad where he was awarded the President’s Gold Medal. He also holds a BE in Computer Science and Engineering from REC Trichy.
