Sequoia Capital Invests In Israel's Silent Communications
November 11, 2007
Silent Communication, a provider of client-based mobile solutions for Call Management and Visual Voicemail, today announced that Silent Communication has raised funding from Sequoia Capital and Yair Goldfinger. The funding enables Silent Communication to bring its advanced TalkinSilent™ Mobile Suite to the market, expand operations and accelerate new products development activities.
Silent Communication has developed a platform for cellular devices, which reduces the number of missed incoming calls, thereby increasing the operator’s revenue. Released in 2006, TalkinSilent™ Mobile Suite enables users to answer the phone and respond to the caller by selecting and playing preset personalized responses or SMS. User can select responses previously recorded in his own voice or choose those spoken by a customizable male or female voice in the application. As well, the application enables users to invite callers to SMS text chat or leave voice message on in-device voicemail.
