Matt founded Inkling before the iPad was even announced. He was selling the big boys in publishing, not exactly known for adopting new technology, on a new way to distribute and present their content. But Matt can sell you anything even if he has nothing to sell. Funnily enough, he walked into our meeting with no slides and no product. In the course of an hour, he showed (maybe) one picture of what the product might look like. We left the meeting knowing we had to get into business with this guy even though we had no idea what the product or business model was going to be.
