Qualtrics was founded by a father, two brothers and a friend. One of the brothers, Jared, is the technology genius who we’ve known for a long time. Jared is off the charts smart and just a wonderful person all-around. He’s very technical and strong on product. But we had never met his brother, who was running the company, Ryan. When we did meet Ryan, it became clear this was not only going to be a great product, it was going to be a great business. Ryan had clarity, energy, and the ability to lead. If you are lucky, you only find that in a couple people each year.
