First Meeting
Once we identify talented entrepreneurs, we try to work with them throughout their careers. Andy and Venkat were key founding team members at 3 Sequoia companies. When they shared their plans for Clari, we asked them to incubate at our offices, but they chose to work from Venkat’s garage instead. The cofounders spent months refining their concept. During that time, we were delighted to become the company’s first investor and close business partner.
