Noom is about behavior change, and behavior change is fundamentally about habits.  We are creating the most advanced psychology- and technology-powered behavior change platform ever; one that can tap into motivation, change habits, and drive health and wellness outcomes for millions of users.  We need a senior product leader who can drive our strategy on habit formation, and will build and lead the team that will innovate and execute that strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop a product strategy for a core pillar of Noom’s behavior change engine, utilizing engagement best practices, psychology, technology, and your overall product expertise.  Execute on this strategy to increase the long-term value to our users and our business.
  • Deeply empathize with our users, their motivations and challenges, and the psychological mechanics of habit.  Build a world-class understanding of user engagement built on psychological research, user research, and data analysis.
  • Build a team that can successfully deliver on the product vision; identify and hire the required engineering, product management, design, and editorial resources who will focus on this pillar.
  • Serve as a leader for the rest of Noom’s product team.  Help our product team continue to work at peak efficiency by building on our operational best practices.  This role will report to the Vice President of Product.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 8+ years of overall experience as a strong PM and Senior PM, with a clear record of successful delivery and impact in collaboration with an engineering team.
  • Product management experience in a consumer setting, particularly focused on engagement with products that have a long-term relationship with their user.
  • Very strong critical thinking and analysis skills. Ability to take an ambiguous problem, use data-informed brainstorming, identify goals and clear metrics, and drive a team to deliver on those goals.
  • Good user instincts - experience working with design, user research, running experiments, and iterating on ideas to benefit end users.  Perhaps you’ve read Nudge, Atomic Habits, and/or Hooked.
