We are in search of a Senior Information Security Risk & Compliance Analyst that shares these priorities to join our team. This role can work from anywhere within the United States. Snapdocs takes security seriously. One of the most important things we do for our clients is to support them in their efforts to be compliant and safely transfer consumer information. It is our job to stay current on the latest in consumer protection regulation and security technology and update our security measures accordingly. We shoulder some of the stress associated with security and compliance for the mortgage services providers using our platform. You will be part of an important team that develops and manages compliance with audit requirements and other frameworks, as well as the identification of risk that doesn't inhibit speed and innovation for product development. This position will report to the Risk and Compliance Manager.
As a subject matter specialist, you will develop roadmap initiatives based on customer needs (e.g: NIST, ISO, GDPR, SOC2 etc) and dive them through readiness and gap assessments, control implementation, and internal/third-party audits. You will respond to questionnaires, emails, conduct research, lead calls, and connect with internal/external partners using explicit technical details and professionalism. You understand risky business by taking traditional risk management concepts and applying them to out of the box situations and complex technologies that drive acceptable business resolutions as a co-owner. You will build knowledge by creating diagrams or necessary artifacts including policies, standards, and procedures, and surface work to build on areas that need improvement. You will continue to empower others by sharing information, building relationships, and collaborating across all aspects of security, sales, legal, and engineering while adhering to Snapdocs’ principles. You will secure the organization by providing operational support that includes the response to data exposure incidents.
Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in information security Risk & Compliance with a proven track record of working in a remote and distributed environment. This person will have demonstrated ability in areas of compliance, audit, and risk, and experience in a startup environment is highly desirable. We are looking for candidates with program management experience, polished professionalism developed through consulting or engaging directly with customers, auditors, and third-parties. Self-directed and motivated individual to foster creative problem solving as well as out of the box thinking. This person will have a working understanding of how compliance operates with cloud-native technology stacks. Prior experience in data privacy and mortgage regulatory compliance and industry-standard methodologies (e.g. RON, MISMO, etc) is a huge plus.
