Job Description / Skills Required
As a Director of Commercial Sales, you’ll play a key role in scaling and optimizing the fastest growing business unit at Gong.
- Ongoing hiring, mentoring and development of Commercial Sales Managers and Account Executives which includes recruiting, hiring, and training new members
- Identify opportunities and develop strategies to improve process, efficiency, and productivity across the commercial sales organization.
- Consistently deliver against revenue and headcount targets
- Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Assist your team as an executive sponsor throughout their sales cycles - especially during complex negotiations.
- 8+ years of sales and sales leadership experience
- 2+ years of 2nd line leadership experience
- Consistent track record of 100% team attainment as a 2nd line leader
- Proven track record of scaling large sales teams & selling complex deals
- Proven track record and experience in increasing efficiency and productivity across a growing sales org.
