Job Description / Skills Required

As a Director of Commercial Sales, you’ll play a key role in scaling  and optimizing the fastest growing business unit at Gong.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ongoing hiring, mentoring and development of Commercial Sales Managers and Account Executives which includes recruiting, hiring, and training new members
  • Identify opportunities and develop strategies to improve process, efficiency, and productivity across the commercial sales organization.  
  • Consistently deliver against revenue and headcount targets 
  • Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets 
  • Assist your team as an executive sponsor throughout their sales cycles - especially during complex negotiations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of sales and sales leadership experience
  • 2+ years of 2nd line leadership experience 
  • Consistent track record of 100% team attainment as a 2nd line leader
  • Proven track record of scaling large sales teams & selling complex deals
  • Proven track record and experience in increasing efficiency and productivity across a growing sales org.
