We work with 4,000+ of the most innovative brands like Coach, Urban Outfitters, CB2, Pura Vida, Lulus, and Jack in the Box. Attentive was founded in 2016 by the co-founders of TapCommerce, a mobile marketing platform that was acquired by Twitter in 2014.
We are looking for a Junior AP Coordinator to join our growing Finance team at Attentive.  In doing so, you will closely collaborate with various stakeholders like the Accounting and FP&A and support Attentive’s future growth domestically and internationally.  The candidate will report to the Senior AP Coordinator and will be responsible for accurate and timely payments of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements. 


      • Vendor Invoices
      • Review vendor invoices for completeness and accuracy (e.g. invoice date, invoice number, addressee, amounts, currency, sales tax, etc.) and resolves any outstanding issues
      • Review GL coding on invoices to ensure that it is in line with the nature of the expense and the budget
      • Liaison with vendors on account changes, invoice queries, and disputes
      • Maintain vendor profiles in the accounting system and ensure all invoicing details are up to date
      • Liaison with multi-department managers for vendor payment approvals
      • Assist in the settlement of funds via weekly pay run
      • Assist in the creation of reports to gain insight into projected cash outflows
      • Employee Reimbursed Expenses
      • Ensure employee cardholders submit their open corporate card reports in Expensify
      • Ensure employee credit card & out-of-pocket expense reports have been reviewed and approved by the relevant supervisor
      • Ensure all expenses have a corresponding receipt attached to the expense reports
      • Review GL coding on expense reports ensuring that it is in line with the nature of the expense and the budget
      • Input and post expense reports in the AP system in a timely manner
      • Timely payment of out-of-pocket expense reports
      • Maintain expense reports digital filing folders
      • Ensure expenses are in line with company policy
    • AP Administration
    • Assist with month-end close
    • Assist with year-end preparation of 1099’s
    • Assist with YE audit with external auditors

Skills & Qualifications:

    • At least 2 years of experience in AP role
    • Prior startup experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred[GA1] 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, index and array formulas, etc)
    • Experience with Oracle Netsuite, Expensify and preferred
    • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and mindful of deadlines
    • Highly motivated and willing to take on extra responsibility
    • Ability to work under pressure with extensive working hours, in a fast-paced and challenging working environment
    • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
