About the role 

In this role, you'll be leading and managing a growing CRM team committed to driving the optimal comms experience for our portfolio of business users. You'll work closely alongside our Demand Gen team, as well as product managers, engineers, copywriters, and designers in a creative, highly collaborative environment. CRM plays a crucial role in both the high volume consumer world, as well as the super important lead funnel for sales. You'll work with the marketing team in tandem with engineers and data analysts to produce data-driven, relevant, contextual experiences for our leads that also bring incremental revenue to the business. And of course, you'll test, test, test — always brainstorming new ways to create the next big unlock in our marketing programs. 

Responsibilities 

  • Drive strategy and road mapping for marketing automation across both sides of the business 
  • Shape the lifecycle for business customers and end-users, from first contact to trial to post-adoption and retention
  • Interface with product, sales, and engineering teams to build out the CRM channel mix and create new methods of reaching current and prospective customers 
  • Own incremental revenue generation for CRM channels across B2C and B2B 
  • Use data to develop more granular personalization across both sides of the business 
  • Own creation and dissemination of CRM reporting throughout the company, collaborating with data & analytics team members to create easily understood dashboards 
  • Build out a testing framework and ensure lifecycle communications are constantly evolving 
  • Serve as the final line of approvals and quality assurance for all outgoing communications 
  • Manage a team of CRM specialists and coordinate prioritization of projects for a wide range of business stakeholders 

Requirements  

  • 7+ years CRM/marketing automation experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS capacity 
  • Strong experience in enterprise-level marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Hubspot, Pardot, Eloqua, etc), and their various capabilities and integrations
  • 3+ years experience managing a team

  • Braze and Sendgrid experience a huge plus 
  • Strong Salesforce.com experience 
  • Demonstrable ownership of key business metrics relating to CRM 
  • Experience driving wide-scale A/B and multivariate testing programs 
  • HTML/CSS for email a plus
