Aurora is looking for a Senior AV-VC/Event Technology Tech Specialist to become a part of our growing team. As Aurora grows, so does our need to scale our Visual Collaboration services, and to drive innovation around our hybrid approach to the workplace experience. We are looking for candidates that value the power of teamwork, have recent experience in building, supporting and maintaining Video Conferencing Infrastructure and Live Event Spaces.  A strong background in Live Streaming and Event Production is also required.

In this role, you will 

  • Elevate the relationship with the Workplace and Internal Comms teams to a strategic partner, becoming an integral part of their success. 
  • Contribute to AV-VC Engineering in the design, procurement, installation, and sign off of new office builds and retrofits. 
  • Research and Develop our AV technology standards for conference rooms and event spaces.
  • Partner with our Workplace and People teams to create and deliver the hybrid workplace of the future.
  • Be accountable for  AV/VC related support tickets and ensure compliance with resolution SLA’s.
  • Collaborate with IT Operations on standardizing our global support model 
  • Travel to our offices as needed as it pertains to project work
  • Research and Develop our AV technology standards for conference rooms and event spaces.
  • Oversee all AV/VC related support tickets and ensure compliance with resolution SLA’s.
  • Work proficiently with minimal daily guidance. 
  • Provide engaging, informative, well-organized feedback where required.
  • Observe and comply with Aurora’s policies and procedures for Health and Safety at Work and Equality and Diversity. Continually promote equal opportunities, health and safety and customer care in compliance with organizational aims and objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of AV/Event Technology industry experience in Video Conferencing, All-Hands and Special Event Production
  • Expert Knowledge in Google Meet and Zoom operations and administration
  • Hands-on experience in managing Live and Remote company events
  • Prior experience delivering technical solutions in high growth environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with handling prioritization on time sensitive problems and escalations. A proven track record working effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • CTS certification
  • A healthy skepticism for the status quo and an unwillingness to settle

Desirable Qualifications

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with vendor selection and vendor management
  • Experience being a catalyst for positive change in a large organization.
