I had aspired to be an academic before stumbling into the world of finance. It all started in 2006 when a bank in Frankfurt took the chance with a young M&A intern who could barely string together a proper sentence in German. I’m grateful for this opportunity.
I went on to work in investment banking for over a decade, before joining Sequoia. As a banker, I’ve worked across a range of capital raising, M&A and IPO deals in TMT (tech, media & telecom) across Asia. This experience provided me with a foundation to help founders navigate strategic transactions.
