About the team:

Robinhood’s Brokerage Security Office is looking for addition to the team to help build our Security Risk function. The Security Risk Lead works with teams across Robinhood to ensure our Brokerage and Clearing products and services are secure and our customer’s data is protected. You will be customer focused and will identify and elevate security risks. Lastly, you will influence business decisions based on the analysis performed by the team to ensure decisions are being made with security and privacy in mind.

We’re looking for a Security Risk Lead who is deeply passionate about security, privacy, safety and building healthy teams to lead this critical effort.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Develop and maintain monthly cyber risk executive reporting processes
  • Analyze risks across the portfolio and enterprise to determine risk trends impacting the Brokerage and Clearing divisions
  • Provide visibility to leadership of the security and privacy risks and overall health for the Brokerage division
  • Escalate and manage security and privacy risks
  • Work with our cross-functional partners in Communications, Design, Risk, Compliance, Product, CXE, Marketing, Legal, Engineering, and Physical Security
  • Stay up to date on the direction of emerging security and privacy industry trends
  • Mentor and grow the members the team for their immediate and long-term careers
  • Recruit top-tier talent at all levels of seniority

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Develop and maintain monthly cyber risk executive reporting processes
  • Analyze risks across the portfolio and enterprise to resolve risk trends impacting the Brokerage and Clearing divisions
  • Provide visibility to leadership of the security and privacy risks and overall health for the Brokerage division
  • Escalate and manage security and privacy risks
  • Work with our cross-functional partners in Communications, Design, Risk, Compliance, Product, CXE, Marketing, Legal, Engineering, and Physical Security
  • Stay up to date on the direction of emerging security and privacy industry trends

About you:

  • 5+ years of experience in operational risk disciplines, preferably in Cyber/Security/Privacy
  • Familiarity with NIST and ISO frameworks
  • Experience with Brokerage firms a plus
  • A passion for Robinhood and the products we produce
  • Stellar program management skills; the ability to plan, manage, and maintain an organization-wide program over the longer term
