Sales Engineering at Tessian
As a Sales Engineer at Tessian you will play a substantial role in building and sustaining customer relationships while driving the adoption of Tessian solutions in a role that will be impactful, visible, and rewarding.
You'll work closely with commercial and extended teams to support the acquisition of new revenue from existing and prospective customers, focusing on technical alignment of our product, and how we address our customers threats. You'll build deep, consultative relationships with their customer, effectively becoming a trusted adviser and liaising with our customers' executives, technical management, and technical engineers.
You'll create technical content and artefacts as well as owning the technical product feedback loop with the product and engineering teams, continuously develop and expand the knowledge of customers' business and mission, and present solutions that address customers' needs.
You'll understand the customer's high-level business objectives, and match these to how Tessian’s value proposition, technologies, and strategy can help them meet their needs, and in doing so, be critical to both our mission and embedding our Customer Centricity value.
We'd love to meet someone who:
Has a strong affinity for technology and sales.
Strong background in security
Is a self-starter attitude, with an outgoing personality, who's comfortable working both independently and in a team setting.
Has great presentation skills & the ability to demonstrate material to audiences with varying levels of technical capability.
Has 3 or more years in tech, in a Pre-sales or customer-facing consulting capacity or with other relevant technical experience & relationship building skills.
Has Experience working with commercial teams & is comfortable with quota driven performance management.
Is set apart by their expertise in enterprise applications, security, cloud or systems management
Is constantly expanding their technical knowledge
Has strong customer facing and relationship building skills, coupled with listening and questions-based selling skills which help them see the “big picture” and create amazing experiences for customers.
Typical activities will include:
Building high-level design and architecture drawings
Technically validating the solution with the customer
Leading any demonstration or Proof of Value (PoV) activities
Assisting with the preparation of a proposal, Due Diligence and RFP processes
Helping the AE develop business cases and ROI/TCO justifications required to get support to drive business forward
