Position: Sales Development Representative (Outbound) - North America
Location: Mountain View, CA
About the Position:
We are currently seeking energetic Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). This position is an integral part of our sales engine. SDRs are a specialized group of individuals always “hunting” for high-value opportunities.
SDRs are focused on the front end of the sales cycle and be the face of CleverTap. This individual must be a highly motivated, outgoing, self-starter who is able to identify and develop opportunities from multiple sources including prospect lists, and individual research.
The incumbent is expected to excel in this role and pave his/her own path to become a successful Enterprise Sales Rep in the next 18-24 months.
Purpose: Responsible for generating a funnel of outbound leads/prospects so as to enable conversion by the Sales team.
Research accounts from the addressable market, identify potential opportunities for business, identify potential stakeholders/ decision makers and interface with them to generate interest for CleverTap product offerings.
Generate sales-ready meetings and qualified opportunities for the company by rigorously prospecting and researching in the given region/ market/ industry.
Striking and initiating conversations with high-profile personas of companies in the prospect list to generate sales-ready meetings and qualifies opportunities.
Being the face of CleverTap and introducing the company and the product to the prospects so as to generate funnel.
Write creative communication (emails/ In mails) to grab the attention of prospects.
Ideate and innovate methods to improve SDR metrics.
Enthusiastically working on outbound activities, representing the company in a highly professional manner.
Successfully and accurately answering prospect questions and providing appropriate additional information to the Sales Team.
Capturing accurate and legible documentation for all activity, recording information in Salesforce.
Consistently maintaining departmental standards for quality.
Achieving defined productivity goals.
Meeting all company policies and procedures.
Working with weekly schedules relating to activity volume.
Working closely with the Marketing and Communication department in order to build campaigns that ensure lead quality and quantity.
Participating in marketing campaigns and events

Minimum of 1 - 3 years previous outbound prospecting experience
Clear, compelling, and competent communication across email, social media, and the phone
Experience with the creation and execution of outreach sequences composed by a series of cold calls, emails and social touches.
Ideally from prospecting to marketing department, C-Level and digital space
Experience with Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Going (or similar tools).
Knowledge and use of CRM, Outreach and LinkedIn highly preferred
Creative, perseverant and not afraid to fail
Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
Have the grit to handle rejections efficiently.
A desire to grow and advance a career in sales
Willing to work with Time-Zone differences ranging from India, US, South America, UK, and the Middle East, CleverTap provides flexibility in working hours.
