Job Description / Skills Required

As a Client Platform Engineer on the Corporate Engineering team, you will help build internal systems and services to keep Truework employees happy and effective. You will help develop and scale the infrastructure used by your peers. You will develop mixed environment solutions for software distribution, deployment, and endpoint management. You love to solve problems at scale, and have experience in creating a robust mixed environment (Mac and Windows) with a consistent and seamless experience for our end users and teams. We are looking for someone that is highly adept at managing Macs endpoints on a global level, improving the end user experience, and refining processes through automation.We think of employee experience as a first-class citizen in our Engineering stack, and we are looking for individuals motivated to achieve this vision by providing the best customer service experience possible.


At Truework we are hyper-focused on building products that enable businesses and consumers to regain control over how their sensitive information is shared online. Our backend B2B platform helps HR teams improve security and unlock productivity by automating employment and income verifications. On the consumer side, we give employees unprecedented visibility into how their professional information is shared between third parties such as banks, mortgage lenders, and employers. We believe increasing data transparency and returning data controls to the consumer are two crucial steps toward improving the health and safety of the internet as we know it.


Responsibilities:




  • Design, build, document and support ongoing automation in endpoint deployment and management



  • Provide technical guidance for our client platform engineering efforts: Apple, Windows, and ChromeOS operating systems and software. Including employee devices, service devices, and AWS services


  • Manage, administer, and scale our endpoint fleet and related infrastructure




  • Manage and maintain client configuration and security compliance standards across all endpoints




  • Define and manage a full cycle patch and software distribution framework




  • Take ownership of large complex projects from design through to deployment and operationalization



  • Provide support for escalated issues from Helpdesk by helping to improve efficiency around the most common requests/incidents


  • Help create and improve procedures for onboarding/offboarding users across our systems and services




  • Research and deploy new technologies that improve corporate operations and the productivity of Truework




  • Create design and support documentation and knowledge for new and deployed solutions




Requirements/Qualifications:



  • 3+ years in an IT Engineering or IT Support role at a scaling start-up and/or software company



  • You have proven experience with macOS system administration and scaling for growth


  • You take a passion and take a compassionate approach to help others




  • You have demonstrated a passion for building automated, efficient and secure systems




  • You have a strong knowledge of MDM solutions (JAMF, WorkspaceOne, Intune, etc.), IdM solutions (G Suite, Okta, etc.), productivity software, video conferencing solutions, and more




  • You are able to define inefficiencies in existing tooling and software and work to resolve them




  • You possess Strong organizational and task management skills
