We are looking for an audio DSP engineer to join a group of audio signal processing and / or audio real-time communications experts to develop Zooms audio module. This team is responsible for delivering optimal real-time audio communications experience via Zoom!
Optimize existing code
Participating in research, design, development and implementation on Zoom's real-time audio communications platform
Performing audio DSP (Digital Signal Processing)
Algorithm development and optimization for Zoom
AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation)
AGC (Automatic Gain Control)
NS (Noise Suppression)
Interfacing with Zoom customers for debugging tests
Bachelor degree (Master preferred) in engineering field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics
Understanding of digital signal processing theory, especially linear adaptive filtering and linear systems
Understanding of audio processing algorithms including acoustic echo cancellation, noise suppression, gain control, etc
Experience with C and C++ development
5 or more years of professional software development experience
Solid understanding of the various cloud hosting services and extensive knowledge of the services offered by AWS
Solid understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) model
Experience with Agile principles and practices such as Continuous Integration, daily Scrums, and sprint/release planning and execution.
