Percolate is The System of Record for Marketing®. With offices in NYC (HQ), SF, Miami, and London, Percolate provides the world’s most complex marketing organizations the visibility, coordination, and governance they need to successfully execute their marketing strategy. Over 800 brands including GE, Unilever, Mastercard, Marriott, Levi’s, Cisco, and Cigna trust Percolate to drive brand and revenue growth.

The Percolate DevOps Team works to ensure the availability and reliability of the Percolate infrastructure. Your goal is to provide expertise, maintenance, and support of the infrastructure layer that is constantly used by internal and external customers. Ultimately, you must make sure that the infrastructure is always available, highly performant, and is able to be accessed by the Percolate services and customers. Members of this team will be involved in design, operation, and monitoring of the infrastructure layer; allowing you to respond at any sign of problems. This role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our current infrastructure while also engineering solutions for the future.

Requirements

3+ years of a healthy mix of Development, System Administration, System Engineering, Database Administration, and/or Technical Operations
2+ years of DevOps experience
Comfortable working with AWS services (e.g. RDS, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch) or similar cloud environments
Strong infrastructure automation management experience using tools such as CFEngine, Chef, Puppet, etc.
Comfortable operating in a GNU/Linux or *BSD environment
Automation freak; next level thinking to scale full cloud infrastructure lifecycle from planning & provisioning to monitoring and maintaining
Interest in building innovative SaaS-based systems, and reliable service-oriented architectures
Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, software engineering design patterns and principles
A believer in test-driven development
Solid understanding of Git and GitHub
Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented
Nice to haves

Experience with Python Scripting
Experience with both SQL (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL technologies (e.g. DynamoDB, Redis)
Comfortable with a fast moving organization using Continuous Integration and the Continuous Deployment/Delivery deployment model.
Interest in helping companies control and manage their entire marketing operations and ultimately how the consumer experiences their brand.
