As part of the Consumer Domain at Klarna, you’ll be embedded in a feature team, actively contributing to design and direction of our next generation of mobile and web offerings.
Whether working on a feature that helps smooth payments for millions of monthly active users or working to test out new hypotheses around what consumers want, you’ll work in small teams, responsible for making sure that our users get the best experience possible.

Work with product, UX and your team to define, architect, and build new customer-facing features, from concept to launch;
Build backend with NodeJS and ExpressJS;
Share your knowledge and help the team evolve best practices:
Work in small autonomous teams with short release cycles;
Work in CI/CD setup with tools like Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes;
Be responsible for your production infrastructure and own the full life-cycle of your code - you write it, you own it!
Past experience in both frontend and backend development - preference given to candidates who have experience with large applications of some scale;
Understanding of how to effectively build and architect for the cloud;
Product mindset and care about user experience;
Care about code quality, regular testing and usability of the end product.
