What You’ll Do
The Sales Enablement Director is responsible for aligning sales strategy and execution to accelerate Carbon Black’s sales transformation and growth. The Director will lead and manage the establishment, execution, and on-going development of a Global Training and Sales Force Effectiveness function with clearly defined objectives, strategies, tactics, and action plans.
The Sales Enablement Director shall possess a deep understanding of Carbon Black sales objectives and can translate these objectives to implement a global sales enablement program.
This critical role will work closely with multiple internal departments including Sales, Operations, Marketing, Product Management, Services and Finance and be involved in cross-functional strategies relating to sales planning and expansion.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
Develop, lead and manage the delivery and execution of training programs.
Provide strategic direction and support to regional and country level teams in planning and executing global enablement strategies, tactics and programs to meet go-to-market plans
Streamline sales onboarding and training delivery to sales and coaching of facilitators
Drive continuous improvement in training delivery and sales productivity, including the selection and management of e-learning delivery tools, application exercises and feedback processes
Establish and monitor performance metrics of program and sales success
Ensure consistent adoption of the sales methodology in partnership with Sales Management
Lead by example to ensure cooperative cross-functional teamwork
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; Graduate degree preferred
A minimum of 6-8 years relevant experience in global sales of which a minimum of 3 years has been in leading a global sales force training function
Knowledge of training technology and methodologies to recommend strategies to improve adoption and application
Relevant experience in preparing, developing and executing global sales force effectiveness strategies, tactics, and action plans.
Demonstrable ability to collaboratively build and lead teams of internal and external members in a dynamic and fast moving organization.
Strong project management skills
A motivated self-starter with a high energy level
Strong sense of responsibility and initiative
Excellent oral and written communication skills
