Designers approach their work through a user-centered lens and have an understanding of usability principles and deep experience with consumer focused interfaces. They can turn new features and technical capabilities into designs that are easy to use and emotionally engaging.

Position Overview

The primary focus of this position will be for the design of our core (digital) products. This role will lead product design through processes and concepts rooted in human-centric design principles—from truly understanding our customers’ needs and challenges to designing the solutions for better, and more engaging, customer experiences.

The Product Designer has solid experience in projects across multiple touch points: mobile, web, iOS, Android, email, and more.

You will:

Partner with our Creative Director, product, and engineering teams to conceptualize, design, build and extend our products.
Be a design voice for our product design language, exploring systems, patterns, and interface components for use throughout our user experiences.
Approach design problems conceptually with a constant desire to innovate.
Exhibit a high level of professionalism, with the ability to consistently and effectively communicate with project teams throughout all stages of design.
Explore ways to optimize our product by analyzing customer behavior and conducting customer research.
You have:

3-5 years experience as a designer focused on digital products.
A good understanding of visual systems and are able to see the big picture—but still get excited about small details and micro-interactions.
A portfolio showcasing innovative product and interaction design solutions.
Amazing skills in graphic design and visual design, with a desire to grow these skills.
A high level of proficiency with current design tools and software applications.
Passion for mobile development best practices and standards, including iOS, Android, and the modern web.
Experience prototyping. You value prototyping and understand that it can be done at many fidelities during a project, You understand that validating ideas through design is an ideal way to clarify ideas, gain understanding, and move forward.
A belief that better work is done through collaboration, and have an understanding that collaboration is necessary to innovate. You are passionate about learning through consistent iterative feedback.
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, interaction design, or a related design discipline, or equivalent real-world experience.
