Our small UX team is a startup within a startup: we move fast, learn faster, collaborate enthusiastically and lay track on processes as we go. We’ve got great support from both product management and engineering, and executive sponsorship. Our colleagues are smart, open, and ready to work with us on taking our user experience to the next level.

We are looking for a talented User Researcher who can help us increase our capacity for usability and research studies. Curious and resourceful, you’re interested in working in quick cycles without sacrificing reliability. You’ve got some experience with various research methods, and you’re keen to add more tools to your toolkit. Importantly, you want to be where the action is, working with UX designers, product managers and engineers to ensure that our products help keep the world safe from cyber attacks. You’ll join a Product / UX team that shares your passion for bringing great UX to the enterprise space, and is eager for even more feedback from users. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to connect directly with security analysts and experts.

What You’ll Do

Make it easy for team members to connect directly with users throughout the development cycle
Conduct user research to inform product plans and designs
Use a variety of methods including field studies, remote usability testing, surveys, interviews, card sorts, etc.
Recommend research method that addresses program needs and timelines
Using established cognitive behavioral principles, analyze results and deliver actionable insights to product teams
Present findings with confidence and clarity, and absorb feedback with grace
Ensure findings are available to cross-functional colleagues
Prioritize work requests across scrum teams



What You’ll Bring

2-3 years’ experience in a research role in a technology company.
Experience in qualitative research methods and familiarity with quantitative methods.
Skills in both research and facilitation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible, and committed to delivering in a lean, fast-moving environment.
Growing ability to estimate and make tough prioritization calls,
BA/BS required, degree in cognitive psychology, human factors, human-centered design, social sciences, or a related field.
