We are looking for an electrical technician to help in the development of electronics for unmanned aircraft and their ground support systems. The ideal candidate should have a great deal of experience and (more importantly) enthusiasm for hands-on fabricating, wiring and debugging.
In a single day, the role might range from fabricating a metal bracket for a test fixture to using an oscilloscope to hunt down a noise problem on a serial bus. We build custom high power UPS systems and machines to launch and recover aircraft which need to comply with local electrical codes in multiple countries as well as highly optimized and integrated aerospace-grade electronics. You don’t need to be an expert in every area we cover but you should be very comfortable working with your hands and excited to learn new skills.
