About the Role:

Chartboost is the leader in mobile game advertising. We provide game developers with a wide array of products to empower their business and help them grow. Behind the scenes is a very complex and robust system with a lot of moving parts. This role needs to understand all pieces of the Chartboost platform and diagnose even the smallest issue. Chartboost has many clients with all levels of proficiency and we pride ourselves on providing a high level of service to all clients. The goal of this role is to continue providing and improving our world class support to game developers.


Help new developers integrate Chartboost SDK, test, and set up campaigns to serve their specific needs
Have a strong understanding of adtech, Chartboost, and our technology stack
Understand customer needs and work with product and engineering to make it happen
Dive into client reported issues and determine the root cause
Communicate best practices to mitigate future issues
Test reported bugs and new features
Handle inbound support request from customers via email, occasionally jump on a call, or attend a meeting
Support and teach other Chartboost employees on the technical aspects of the product. Be the go-to person for all technical questions/issues/problems in the local office
Communicate with teams from our HQ in SF to always be on top of any changes or arising issues
Create new knowledge while solving problems, and document it for the rest of your team


You know how to turn a customer into a Chartboost promoter. When they are done with you they will have tweeted and told all their friends that Chartboost is awesome
You are technical and have an understanding of computers and internet concepts:
You have coded something in your lifetime: HTML, Javascript, JAVA, PHP, Python, C, whatever...
You have some experience with mobile technologies. You may not know the full stack, but you understand how it works together
You are data driven and wrote a query or two (SQL)
You are well versed in Mac OS (bonus:UNIX)
You know how to prioritize and triage, but you still do not forget about the little guy
You love learning, you love helping people, and you want to get people excited to use Chartboost
You are not scared of not knowing and you will not stop until you find the answer. You are very proactive and can learn independently
You have admired the Nordstrom, Apple, Ritz Carlton service ethos
Fluent in English with world-class written and verbal communication skills


You have worked in the user acquisition space and understand CTR, IR, and eCPM
You have won awards for being awesome in some way at other jobs or during school
You have worked with xCode, Android Studio, or Unity
4 year technical degree in engineering or equivalent experience
You are a gamer and understand the mechanics of games
