Product Marketing Manager

Clever is looking for a Product Marketing Manager, based in San Francisco. As a Product Marketing Manager at Clever, you are responsible for developing and executing go-to-market campaigns to launch new features and products for our two-sided marketplace with a goal to drive awareness and usage. In 2018, Clever will be launching two exciting new products, and this role will be pivotal to our success. The position will collaborate closely with Clever’s product and success teams and will report to the head of marketing.

Responsibilities

As Clever’s product marketing manager, you will:

Create and execute successful go-to-market plans to launch new Clever features and products, including research, copywriting, asset development, and campaign reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including product, engineering, sales, and customer success) to create successful integrated marketing campaigns and a cohesive user narrative
Develop product messaging and value propositions for Clever users in order to drive awareness, adoption, and ongoing usage
Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to fully understand both sides of Clever’s market (districts and applications) and influence communication strategies
Use key metrics and use engagement patterns to measure performance of marketing programs
Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset and create thoughtful recommendations to solve those problems

Qualifications

We’re seeking candidates who are enthusiastic about marketing, who are able to develop and execute go-to-market plans, and are experienced self-managers who deliver excellent results with minimal supervision.

You should have:

2-3 years experience with a focus on marketing or product
Exceptional communication and writing skills (background for copywriting is a plus)
Resourcefulness and an ability to roll-up your sleeves
Analytical and problem-solving skills
A keen eye for detail and an organized manner
A desire to work in a diverse, highly collaborative team environment
Experience with Marketo and Salesforce preferred but not required
Knowledge of HTML preferred but not required
Start-up experience preferred but not required
