Business Development, targeting top mobile publishers, is a critical part of Chartboost’s growth. This is an opportunity to join our team and drive client relationships and revenue for the Americas. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the mobile ad network and game commerce space, is a self-starter who can own the cycle from prospecting through client onboarding, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment to drive growth and efficiency in our network.
You will be responsible for identifying prospects, closing new business and onboarding clients.
Provide sales management with detailed pipeline reports and market analysis.
Understand the client’s business goals, how they align with the strengths of the Chartboost network and anticipate future needs to determine ideal solutions.
Manage expectations at all levels and attend / direct client meetings. Demonstrate a consultative approach in addressing client needs.
Collect and disseminate client feedback, product requests and needs to the Product team with quantifiable impact and justifications based on sound business cases.
Business Development at Chartboost is not only about closing new publishing business, but managing relationships, knowing the numbers and systems and being able to optimize accounts.
Work cross-functionally with Account Management, Ad Operations and other internal teams to ensure campaign success and communication.
Represent Chartboost at industry conferences and events.
4+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role (inside / outside / direct) with a proven track record as a top performer. Experience in digital advertising is preferred.
Prior experience in sales or business development and ideally come in with a rolodex of contacts within the industry.
Experience working in mobile, with app and/or game developers and have contacts/clients in the mobile games space. You know what SDK, eCPM, ARPU and ROAS are.
A start-up mentality: you know how to stretch a dollar to grow our existing clients and close deals with new clients.
You’re organized and methodical, with phenomenal communication skills and a consultative approach in addressing client needs.
Knowledge of Salesforce and/or other CRM systems
