What You'll Do
Build scalable data systems using Hadoop stack technologies.
Work on the most cutting-edge cross-device technology.
Rollup data in different dimensions for analysis.
Support cross-functional groups to fulfill ad-hoc requests.
What You Bring to the Table
Experience with MapReduce or Spark over large dataset.
3-5 years hands-on experience with the Hadoop stack (e.g. MapReduce, Pig, Hive, Hbase, Spark).
Proficient knowledge in Java/C/C++.
Basic understanding of SQL.
Experience in Graph Algorithms and Graph processing engines like Neo4j, Giraph, GraphX highly desirable.
Machine Learning not required but highly desired.
Experience implementing a business intelligence or reporting system.
You have a deep understanding of CS concepts such as data structures, OOPS, and Algorithms.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
You are a self-starter who can work independently.
A team-player who is pleasant to work with.
Excellent verbal and written communications.
BS/MS/PhD from top school & strong aptitude toward problem solving and working with large data sets.
