Our Finance team builds the financial infrastructure to scale our growing company. We combine analytical and strategic thinking to develop a sound financial future for our global brand. We work closely with teams across the company, as well as with external partners.

Role Description

This is an opportunity to join a growing Analytics team within Finance. You’ll handle the technical infrastructure critical for analyzing business results. Your projects will unlock new insights into our paid customer base and inform business decisions at the highest levels of leadership. You’ll partner closely with leaders in the CFO, Product and Business Strategy organizations. You’ll automate core processes, like revenue forecasting and reporting, enabling financial analysts to focus on priority business issues.

Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of Dropbox’s business model and customer base
Design, develop and maintain FP&A’s source-of-truth data pipelines, useful roll-up tables and reporting interfaces/dashboards focused on revenue
Help define technical aspects of key SaaS business metrics across Dropbox Plus and Dropbox Business (e.g., ARR, ASP, retention)
Validate source data against output and troubleshoot issues
Automate revenue forecasting and reporting workflows
Advocate efficient data reporting methodologies using leading practices
Provide end-user training on applications and reporting tools
Prepare and maintain technical documentation
Identify opportunities for continuous improvements to processes and operations
Partner with broader Finance organization on strategic projects and initiatives
Act as a technical resource for financial analysts and cross-functional team members to assist in their reporting needs

Requirements

Bachelor's or above in CS, Engineering, Physics, Math, Statistics, Business, Economics or related field
2-5 years experience using analytics to drive key business decisions; examples include business/product/marketing analytics, business intelligence, strategy consulting
You have a consistent track record of being able to work independently and engage with business partners with minimal direction
You bring significant experience with SQL and large datasets
You love to troubleshoot issues and solve puzzles
You sweat the details and maintain a high level of integrity in your work
You can demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
