Role Overview:

This role requires an energetic, creative and driven individual with excellent communication, organization and technical skills to own Virtual Customer Engineering.
You will work with other cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve product quality.

Responsibilities:

Own and manage the product escalations and relevant processes within Engineering, PM teams.
Assemble and Lead a virtual team of Developers, SREs, PMs towards solving customer issues.
Be the go-to person for all escalations.
Track, monitor and drive customer escalations to closure by ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Keep all the stakeholders informed of the progress.
Own the root cause analysis (RCA) process, perform post-mortem and make recommendations.
Work closely with Product Management and Engineering, providing feedback from customers on product quality, bugs, and features.
Create and maintain relevant dashboards and tools.



Qualifications:

3+ years experience with leading escalations in enterprise/storage/systems products.
5+ years experience with clustered computing and distributed file systems.
Solid experience with storage-related concepts, including virtualization and data protection (e.g. VMware, CommVault, Symantec, EMC, NetApp).
Prior experience of scripting in Python, bash.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Self driven individual with strong collaboration skills.
Bachelors in Computer Science or related fields.
