Position: Sr. QA and Development Operations Architect (#021150E)
Location: San Jose, CA
Develop and maintain test automation cloud operations automation framework to handle test and production environment for Software-As-A-Service product line. Lead design, implementation, and operation of the platform services both for internal and external customers. Implement processes for a 24x7 up and running environment for the long-term. Architect a new quality assurance framework that tests Numerify's cloud and Software-As-A-Service products through every stage in the data pipeline. Guide the Quality Assurance team in automating all the quality test activities exercised by this framework and define how this framework is integrated into the continuous build and integration framework currently utilized by Numerify. Review the tools and code used during this process and will be responsible for evaluating additional tools and technologies that can further assist in the automation process. Interface with Numerify partners and customers who are interested in using the framework for their own uses. Involved in all aspects of product release cycle from requirements gathering, R&D, quality engineering and release, as well as post-release functions and customer success.
Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. Stated five (5) years of experience in Software Quality Assurance must include two (2) years of experience in a managerial role such as Technical Lead or Manager and one (1) year of experience testing distributed systems or end-to-end testing of large integrated Enterprise Systems; one (1) year of experience in development and execution of software test strategy and plans; one (1) year of experience in building test automation framework; and one (1) year of experience in Cloud technologies like Open Stack or Amazon Web Services.
