The AI tools team at 24/7.ai -ilabs is a group dedicated for creating advanced tools for building and managing conversational bots, using Machine Learning (ML), predictive models and Artificial Intelligence. We work closely with the Platform services group that develops applications on top of our platform, Data Science group that develops advanced deep learning technologies, our customers and partners that use our services, prediction models, the UX team that design cutting-edge user interfaces and other cross functional teams to generate, collect, analyze, visualize data in the form of reports.
We are looking for a Tech Lead with outstanding software design and implementation skills and expertise in building cloud scale web services who will be able to contribute as a senior individual contributor in a dynamic, fast-paced agile team environment. You will be working on the services and applications related to supervised and unsupervised model training, machine learning, services for designing, building and training chat bots, knowledge base and numerous platform components that power our Predictive OmniChannel customer service solutions that support voice, social, mobile and web front-ends. You will be working closely with data scientists, peer developers, users, partners and UX teams to develop new services that involve Machine Learning and NLP. You will be incorporating Messaging, Machine Learning and NL technologies in a scalable architecture for our Fortune 100 customers. You will be a contributing to architecture, design and software engineering through all stages of product development.

You will be working closely with data scientists, peer developers, product management and UX teams to develop new services that involve big data, chatbots, Machine Learning and NLP.
You will be incorporating restful web services, Machine Learning and NL technologies in a scalable architecture for our Fortune 100 customers.
You are excited to research, prototype and build applications and services in the areas related to AI.
You love being part of a strong team and can actively provide and receive feedback in code reviews, design reviews and other technical discussions
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
7+ years of strong experience in design and development in Java/Node.JS/C++ etc.
Experience in designing, proposing and implementing distributed applications
Understanding of software design paradigms, cloud based tiered software architectures, database systems
Experience in SQL/RDBMS as well as NoSQL databases
Expertise in data structures and algorithms
Demonstrated ability to implement complex software systems and cloud scale RESTful web services
Experience in programming with Java or Node.js & a demonstrated ability to pickup new programming languages a big plus
Demonstrated ability for attention to detail and passion for high quality software
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, cross-functionally, within an engineering organization
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with ElasticSearch and Cassandra is a plus
Online portfolio (public github or similar) is a plus
Experience with Natural Language Systems or Machine Learning is a plus
