Manager/Senior Manager, Brand Partnerships - London, UK

Job Description / Skills Required

POPSUGAR is looking for a Manager/Senior Manager of Brand Partnerships to join our growing
sales team, working out of our London-based office. This person will be responsible for building
strategy and implementing tactics to produce, meet and exceed new business revenue targets
through strategic partnerships and display advertising. The ideal candidate has strengths in
creative sales, robust agency relationships and is a self-starter who can wholly own and develop an
expanding revenue line for the UK business. This role reports into the UK Commercial Director.

Responsibilities:

Significantly increase revenue across POPSUGAR UK by driving new advertiser acquisition
across a specified agency and client territory
Meet and exceed bi-annual revenue goals
Work with the UK Commercial Director to identify and implement a territory strategy to
exceed revenue goals
Cultivate strong relationships with executives across both agencies and clients, attending
and representing POPSUGAR at industry events and evangelising POPSUGAR to the
market at large
Be an expert on all elements of your agency and clients business needs to foster new
opportunities and revenue growth
Develop pitches and any supporting materials through proactive communication of new or
improved product offerings, customer targeting and in response to RFPs
Communicate all aspects of campaign components to relevant stakeholders and act as the
day-to- day point of contact
Work with the UK creative strategists to develop strategic partnerships that meet partner
requirements
Plan and execute campaigns using SalesForce
Management of individual seller pipeline with supporting rationale of win/loss analysis to help
shape future campaigns
Regularly report to the Commercial Director on the development and progress of business
against clearly defined targets
Demonstrate depth and understanding of POPSUGAR with a passion for our brand
Preferred Qualifications:

Educated to degree level or equivalent
4-6 years sales experience selling online advertising including strategic partnerships and
display display, preferably at a digital media company/publisher
Proven track record in developing new business and achieving sales targets whilst managing
opportunities from prospect to approval and from planning to execution
Experience in creating complex, targeted and customised advertising proposals for clients
Strong relationships with leading advertising agencies and brands
Passion for the POPSUGAR and our audience
Detail-oriented and highly organised with proven communication skills (both verbal and
written)
A self-motivator able to work independently and flexibly with an ability to multi-task in a fast-
paced environment
Able to work with international teams across the US to deliver responsibilities
Strong analytical skills and business judgment
Proficiency in keynote, comscore and media operational platforms
