Kahuna is looking for an experienced B2B content writer/editor to lead our content creation and production efforts. The role is broken down as follows: writing original content focused on our B2C customers (60%), editing and curating contributed content from internal and external writers (20%), and supporting demand generation and other marketing activities such as creation of a podcast series, social media, and event logistics (20%). Our ideal candidate is a talented writer, knowledgeable about SEO best practices, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. The right candidate will care deeply about producing quality content, be driven to achieve ambitious goals, thrive in an environment of constant change, and contribute positively to team culture through being a supportive and empathetic colleague.
Write high-quality content on a variety of topics relating to Kahuna, its customers and our marketing prospects.
Help create and develop a podcast series leveraging our network of C-level marketing executives.
Author a variety of written materials, including blog posts, customer stories, white papers, and other marketing collateral.
Work with internal and external stakeholders, C-level executives and a variety of individuals in pursuit of building a world-class content program.
Use data to assess the results of the team’s work and proactively suggest pivots if necessary.
Foster harmonious working relationships both in and outside of the marketing team.
A willingness and ability to “go where the needs are”—whether that’s writing work, optimization work, or a mixture of both, you should be obsessed with driving results and flexible in how you get there.
2-4 years experience writing and creating content for B2B marketing.
Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to quickly get up to speed on and produce knowledgeable content on an unfamiliar subject matter.
A demonstrated track record of growing organic traffic for a new content property.
Insanely high attention to detail. Errors, typos, and inconsistencies make your skin crawl.
Playing nice with others—you know how to and understand the importance of working well with multiple stakeholders to achieve mutual goals.
Comfortable working with minimal supervision and in a changing and dynamic environment.
