Carbon is looking to hire a strong software engineer with an even stronger background in graphics and computational geometry to help Carbon design and implement software to design and process futuristic parts -- like the midsole jointly developed by Carbon and adidas -- that can't be manufactured any other way.

Our ideal candidate will have proven expertise in one or more of the following areas:

·2D and 3D graphics algorithm design and implementation, including GPU programming

·Surface and volume mesh generation, analysis, and adaptation

·Numerical linear algebra and optimization

·Building and shipping significant software components


·Numerical methods for simulation

·Finite element analysis (experience with algorithm design and implementation)

·Experience with Linux and AWS


BA/MS/PhD in computer science, computational mechanics, mathematics or related field

>3 years experience.
