Who Are You?
You are a hands-on, get-it-done marketer that is passionate about all aspects of product marketing, including messaging, positioning, competitive intelligence, sales engagement, collateral creation, and execution of launches and product marketing programs.
As Head of Product Marketing, you will own the function. You will have a high level of autonomy and work closely with all teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering. As an ideal candidate you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a track record of success managing successful technology brands.
You will own:
Go to Market
Attain an intimate knowledge of our customers and their most pressing business challenges through research, feedback loops, and direct interactions
Understand the competitive landscape, and identify strategies to develop products and go to market in ways that are uniquely Thanx
Develop the strategic pillars of go-to-market strategy including positioning, target customers, messaging and campaign strategy, content, and growth plans
Design and seamlessly execute go-to-market plans with our product, sales, customer success, and marketing teams across all channels
Serve as a resident expert on competitive products, trends, and market dynamics.
Provide ongoing insight into the business and make decisions and recommendations based on market and competitive intelligence.
Positioning & Messaging
Define our messaging so that it resonates with its target customers. Ensure the messaging comes to life in all-key deliverables through powerful storytelling.
Drive our collateral efforts to produce compelling narratives that engage our customers at all stages of the customer lifecycle
Turn insights into something actionable, think positioning document or a list of key messages.
Align the company around product marketing initiatives to ensure buy-in and a uniform message.
Work closely with the Sales Enablement Manager to ensure sales has the tools they need to drive new business while also listening to their feedback to drive strategic decisions.
Create a launch plan including content; everything from demo decks to product screenshots, sales materials, blog content, landing pages and website updates.
Ensure the entire time is prepped and ready to go before launch; everything from making sure the website is ready to go live to make sure that the support team is ready to field calls.
Launch! Lead the marketing and PR efforts for all product launches. Generate broad awareness and interest in new features among target customers.
6+ years of product marketing experience with B2B businesses both tactical and strategic.
Proven track record of success leading product launches from concept to delivery.
Both a qualitative and quantitative approach to Product Marketing and driving demand.
An innate ability to tell stories about the product that resonate with prospects and drive demand.
Passionate about the SMB-MM space and excited to develop and clearly articulate the unique value that Thanx provides to the market.
Very strong written communication and presentation skills.
A 4-year degree from a top university.
