In this role you will help create that content and co-ordinate brand initiatives, reaching millions of event-goers on a monthly basis.


Sitting with the UK Marketing team and the only Consumer Marketer in our territory, your mission will be to coordinate the roll out of our consumer content channels and help us iterate and optimise as we gain a deeper understanding of our consumer audience. You will collaborate closely with the Global Marketplace unit and co-ordinate the UK / IE roll out of global brand initiatives and consumer facing projects; you will also represent the needs of the UK consumer at a global level.


If you have more Knowledge than a London cabbie when it comes to London’s venues, events and tastemakers, with seasoned writing and project management skills, this role could be for you. Coming from a content, editorial or consumer content marketing background, you’ll know how to create content that drives clicks and brand loyalty, and will be up for getting involved in both local and global multichannel campaigns.


Commission, co-ordinate and create all UK consumer content, across blog, email and social channels and oversight of channel growth.

Devise and edit city-related content to build the Eventbrite brand.

Hire and manage a team of freelance writers across the UK and Ireland.

Coordinate and optimise the content calendar for the blog, email and social channels, using your local knowledge to pitch story ideas.

Oversee roll out of global consumer content / brand initiatives.

Responsible for consumer email marketing.


3+ years of experience as a journalist, copywriter, freelance wordcrafter or consumer content marketing professional with published works.

Outstanding writing, editorial, creation, and curation skills.

Highly organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Experience managing social media accounts with a track record of building followers/audiences.

Experience with Wordpress and email marketing systems such as Mailchimp.

Dependable, self-motivated and committed.

Deep and broad knowledge of London / the UK’s best events, venues, and tastemakers.


A degree in English, Communication, Business, Journalism, or Marketing.

Familiarity with Eventbrite and the events space - you may even be an event creator yourself.

Experience working as part of a remote team, building strong HQ relationships and influencing effectively for local market needs.

Strong personal brand and large social reach.
