This role will have a strong focus on supporting and strengthening an established team of Account Executives. There should be a focus on educating the Financial Services market about the digital transformation that is occurring and the need to partner with Hearsay Systems to drive that change. This role requires education/evangelization and consistent results delivering new business and achieving renewal targets as established by the business. This role requires a person who can quickly become viewed as a thought leader and partner to our customers in the region.

As a sales leader, your expected outcomes will be:

Cultivate strong and collaborative relationships with the eastern sales organization and articulate regional strategy to the business to achieve results
Drive and chart Hearsay’s course in the Eastern US while leading a team and building strong sales in the region, achieving the bookings targets for 2018 and beyond
Expand Hearsay’s presence in the market and continue our market positioning as the Advisor Cloud company lead and mentor the sales teams to grow the business, deepen client relationships to achieve 2018 goals and beyond
Educate the Financial Services market on the digital transformation that is occurring and evangelize our products as a way to drive that change within their business
Work with Account teams to identify new business opportunities and consistently achieve quarterly targets to maintain consistent growth in region
Grow our existing client base and retain current clients and and develop an effective model to upsell these accounts
Be a cultural leader in the New York office. Build cross-functional relationships in the office and across the company to build a highly functioning regional office and retain top performers

About you:
Director level enterprise sales experience where you’ve leading high caliber senior sales teams and worked cross functionally with marketing, customer success and product
Growth-minded, driving towards constant improvement of self, team and company.Team player, committed to growing and mentoring Sales teams and celebrating their successes
Sales leadership experience and demonstrated and consistent over achievement of targets
Proven experience in strategic selling to both C-suite executives and project teams
Ability to execute effective leadership to create a culture of accountability, results and teamwork
Ability to strategize on the most efficient and effective ways to close business
Experience in training, hiring and building sales teams
An abundance of ambition and motivation to grow the company and compete with the big players in the industry
Excellent presentation skills and strong executive presence
High degree of resilience and persistence in the face of competitive challenges
Demonstrable success in new business development at Fortune 500 companies, ideally in the financial services industry
Self-discipline and high personal and professional integrity
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, diligence and follow-through
Undergraduate degree required
