Education technology to empower learning.
Clever is the fastest-growing company in K-12 education - we’re relied on by half of all K-12 schools in the United States and hundreds of education software companies, including the largest in the world - Google, Amazon, Scholastic, and Khan Academy.
Thousands of school districts are already using Clever’s core suite of free products, and we’re currently launching a new product called Goals: a method for schools to assess student progress across multiple applications, helping them make better decisions about curriculum. We’ve already built deep relationships with the biggest districts in the country and several of our largest districts are already on board for Goals specifically, so we’re well-positioned to grow Goals quickly. This is a shift for us, as it’s our first product that’s sold to schools, and it represents a great opportunity for us to hire experienced K-12 sales team members who can create and grow powerful, authentic relationships with districts across the country.
In terms of what we’re looking for: you love building relationships and doing whatever it takes to make a partnership successful. Learning how partners’ organizations work inside and out? No sweat. Using data to prove ROI? That’s what you do. Complex deal negotiations to grow an account? Your idea of a great time.
If this sounds like you, we want you to join our Goals team as a Regional Sales Manager. In this role, you’ll be responsible for selling Goals into a targeted subset of prospective clients within your territory - a client base that will include the biggest, most influential school districts in America. You’ll be dedicated to making districts stronger and smarter and seeking out opportunities for growth, and although you possess a strategic approach to selling and strive to meet and exceed revenue goals, you’ll always have schools’ best interests in mind.
Drive revenue by building strong personal relationships with existing districts on Goals and prospecting within your territory
We expect that this person will be based in the territory they cover, but will travel frequently (25-40% of the time) to visit customers and industry conferences
