The Sr. Marketing Specialist position will be responsible for the email/SMS marketing communication strategy, spearheading email/SMS marketing content of both Elastic and RISE products, designing testing plans to optimize performance, spearheading marketing projects, and owning cross-channel email/SMS campaigns tactics to support other marketing channels. This role will lead the email/SMS channel, support customer acquisition, champion performance reporting and analysis. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, and analytical individual that can help push the envelope of the email/SMS channel to optimize monthly loan volume and ensure a quality customer experience.



Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Design email/SMS marketing communication strategy and customer journey for both Elastic and RISE products using best practices and maintaining IP reputation
Engineer short-term and long-term testing plans for email/SMS KPIs such as open rate, clickthrough rate, etc. and apply learnings to increate ROI and conversion
Advocate all email/SMS projects according to prioritization and manage negotiations among key players
Collaborate with other marketing channels to create cross-channel campaigns and optimize as needed, including owned social media and partners
Apply consumer insight, competition, and other outside resources
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports
Present learnings to upper management

Requirements

Experience and Education

Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance in business or communications fields. Degree in Marketing, Management, Finance, or Information Systems is a plus
5+ years’ experience of email/SMS channel management
Strong quantitative / analytical capabilities
Experience in financial services industry a plus, but not required
