The Role

As Product Manager for Home, you will define how hundreds of millions of users engage with Dropbox across Desktop, Mobile and Web. In this role you will push beyond existing approaches to improving productivity and collaboration by unlocking the true potential of Dropbox’s vast work graph to personalize and optimize our users’ daily work lives.

Responsibilities

Define a short- to medium-term strategy for creating a high-visibility user surface that focuses on helping our users with core needs
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ship new, impactful features, including preparing necessary technical specifications, coordinating development activity, and tracking progress of in-flight projects
Work closely with product marketing, customer success, and users to deeply understand, document, analyze, and synthesize user needs into product priorities, roadmap plans, and detailed specifications
Process, review and interpret large bodies of qualitative and quantitative data on Desktop usage patterns to uncover new product insights
Build cross functional relationships and manage complex, cross-functional projects across multiple teams


Requirements

BS or MS in computer science, electrical engineering or similar or experience as a Software Engineer, Designer or startup Founder
Proven experience as a Product Manager
Ability to analyze and use data to inform decisions
Deep understanding and empathy for users
Launched multiple successful products and features, preferably on Desktop
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
