About the job:

Sales and Account Management for Publishers and Advertisers are critical components of Chartboost’s growth strategy. The Director of Business, China is critical to accomplishing our goals and solidifying our position as leaders in this fast-paced and innovative industry. This is an opportunity to join our team and drive revenue growth and client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the mobile ad network and game commerce space, the ability to drive growth and efficiency in our network, and a passion for helping others.
This position can be based in either our San Francisco Headquarters or Beijing.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the sales team, responsible for identifying prospects, closing new business and growing existing partnerships.
Manage a team of Developer Relations Managers - mentoring and empowerin them to build deep strategic partnerships. Build trainings and processes to ensure the team is able to deepen relationships and upsell existing accounts with new products.
Manage an aggressive China regional revenue target. Represent the China region externally, in front of clients and through speaking engagements.
Understand client needs, anticipate future goals and help determine ideal solutions. Manage expectations at all levels, attend and direct client meetings.
Gather and communicate market intelligence to leadership in structured and actionable ways, helping us respond to and remain at the top of the market.
Serve as an escalation point of contact as a liaison between business, ad ops, product, and engineering.
Business at Chartboost is not only about advertising outreach and closing new business, but managing relationships. To accomplish this, knowing the numbers and systems, and being able to manage and optimize accounts is key.

Job Requirements:

Written and verbal fluency in both Mandarin and English.
Willing to travel to visit partners and flexible to take meetings/calls outside regular business hours to accommodate time zone differences, as needed.
Experience in sales or business development in the mobile game industry with a rolodex of contacts and a positive reputation within our space.
A successful track record managing a team. 5+ years in sales and account management, preferably in digital advertising with a focus on mobile performance.
A start-up mentality: you know how to stretch a dollar to grow our existing clients and close deals with new clients.
Closing mentality: you know how to identify prospects, handle objections, and close
Comfort in representing Chartboost at industry events and trade shows.
Organized and methodical, with phenomenal communication skills and a consultative approach in addressing client needs.
Deep knowledge of Salesforce and/or other CRM systems
You thrive in a collaborative and energetic environment. You are a leader with many accomplishments under your belt and the ability to organize & drive teams.
