About the Role

The Office Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for Austin’s facilities management, office support, and general administrative tasks. You will be in charge of Austin office in order to provide a productive, fun and safe working environment for employees by using best business practices to manage resources, services, and processes.

Support the office and employees, check in guests, help with IT troubleshooting, order supplies, manage vendor relationships and coordinate lunches.
Support and plan internal company and office events (monthly happy hours, birthday celebrations, holiday parties, summer party, all hands meetings, bootcamps and quarterly sales meetings)
Coordinate and manage a range of facilities-related activities, including office expansion
Support the sales team’s sales recruiting activities (phone and on-site interview scheduling and logistics); build a system for organizing and scheduling interviews with local and regional employees
Lead office/workstation improvement projects, purchase and maintain office furniture (workstations, storage, appliances, tables, etc.), manage vendor relationships and coordinate delivery / set-up logistics
Work with your counterparts in San Francisco and London, U.K. to book travel for employees and ThousandEyes guests

Positive, creative, can-do approach to creating and maintaining an efficient, productive and fun office environment
Strong work ethic, willingness and ability to juggle a wide range of responsibilities
2+ years of operations/facilities management experience, ideally in a rapidly-growing, entrepreneurial company
Comfortable with Google Drive and Microsoft Office products
Strong communication and organizational skills
Cost-conscious and analytical
Self-starter, ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy start-up environment
Ability to travel domestically and internationally (occasional travel)
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor degree, ideally in business management or related field but all majors welcome
Vendor management experience
