Summary: The Senior Generalist plays a vital role on our People team. Reporting to the VP of People, it’s a varied role tasked with achieving seamless and efficient HR processes and initiatives while maintaining high standards manager and employee experience. You’ll work closely and partner with with the Guardant Health employees, managers and senior management team to ensure success for programs related to employee development, performance and learning. Oversee employee relations and be the main point of contact in resolving issues for employees and their success in their role and for the company.
Manage the quarterly performance management process to ensure regular communication between managers and employees.
Coordinate learning and development activities focused on employee growth.
Work closely with managers and employees to become a trusted partner to help improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity, engagement and retention.
Conduct exit interviews, and make recommendations for improvement.
Coach managers and employees to effectively communicate and engage to increase employee engagement.
Develop and deliver training to employees and managers on various topics to improve employee development and engagement.
Analyze trends to help develop solutions, programs and policies.
Provides performance management coaching to managers.
Must have 7+ years of human resources experience, preferably as a generalist or employee relations specialist.
Experience managing performance management and improvement programs.
Outstanding customer service skills and a bias towards action with attention to detail.
Manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
Excellent MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
