Job Description / Skills Required

Mission:

Implement and deliver solutions that map to the unique business needs of our customers; by creating software that is efficient, easy to understand and compatible with our customer systems and the Hearsay platform.

Outcomes:

Design, develop, configure, test and deploy custom solutions for customers that: meet the design and specific customer needs, are scalable and secure, and are implemented in a straightforward manner with easy to read code.
Work with existing customer solutions to quickly understand what they do and change behavior as needed.
Provide clear communication to stakeholders on how solutions are built and why
Perform accurate estimations on the complexity and time required to design, implement and validate solutions.

Competencies

Minimum of 3 Years developing business solutions with Java, C# or Python
Understanding of Python or Java with OO code and services
Understanding of relational databases at a simple level (tables, queries, data types, indices), understanding simple schema design, TSQL queries and factors that affect query performance.
Understanding of data flows between systems on networks and basic security constructs that are used in on-premise and cloud based enterprise solutions.
Ability to communicate designs of systems to technically trained people (both technical people internal to Hearsay, and external people in customer’s IT department).
Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in software development
Ability to communicate in English (speaking, reading, and writing) with strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and some technical customer stakeholders.
