Why we invested

When we first came across Qualtrics, it could be described in one line as “SurveyMonkey on steroids.” Scott Smith, his two sons and a college roommate had built a user-friendly, flexible and robust survey engine with incredible retention rates. But it was their vision and ambition to create a new category for business, Experience Management (XM), that resonated even more. We were in.
